Can I move in?

You know how sometimes you start looking online at one thing and end up in a totally different direction? That is exactly what happened to me about 2 days ago as I was strolling through online. Luckily for me what I found is the Velvet & Linen blog {http://brookegiannetti.typepad.com/}. Seriously my mind is consumed with how fabulous this blog is and the inspiration behind it. The author is Brook Giannetti, half of the genius of Giannetti Architecture & Design {http://www.giannettiarchitects.com/Giannetti/Home.html}. Her husband, Steve, is the other {architect} half. I can not stress enough how fabulous their work is. It is one that is worth clicking on {both their business website and her blog}.

Here are a few pictures to motivate you to check out more of their stuff.

Blog facelift

IF you're reading this post then you're probably on my blog, which means you may have noticed that we've gotten a facelift. What do you think of this look? I'm not sure if it's going to stay or being re-invented once again....hmm....

Wishing

I recently (aka, this afternoon) organized all of my 'inspiration' photos on my jump drive. As I'm scrolling through them I'm wishing that I had some silhouettes to hang up. Here are some that I really enjoy:
I like this frame alot with this little profile.

I've tried to get my husband to let me put up my little Tink's silhouette, but so far he isn't for it.

Thought of the day....

I am really dis-loving all of these premade-pastel-girly-baby showers. As I am planning my sisters baby shower I am once again reminded of how many ugly shower items there are out there. With Jessica's baby, this will mark the third baby shower that I've thrown in the past three years. Now, I'm not going lie, I throw one heck of a baby shower, but I'm really going to go all out with this one - - and photos like this aren't helping me...

However blogs like Fawn & Forest are! {http://www.fawnandforest.com/blog/category/14}

or ideas like this:
Oh blogger friends say a prayer for me as I wade through (once again) the baby world & stayed tuned for more baby shower goodness (hopefully!).
